Pros and cons of evo Magazine app for iPhone and iPad

evo Magazine app good for

The big thrill at every release... Much better in english ;-)
The iPad issues are worth every penny! Only thing I would like to see is an "in app" brightness control.
I like the app... full of nice stuff and really uses the iPads abilities. But I do have a lot of crashing problems when scrolling and/or watching vids. Would be nice if that could be fixed.
Great Job! The "evo" experience as it we want it! Videos, photos, graphics! Love it!
I still prefer the old mag that you had to download. But I can clearly see the potential in the new version and I enjoy getting all the updates as soon as theyre ready. Its stable for me on an iPad 3 and running smoothly. So keep it coming guys!
I was purchasing the magazine for several years in a local bookstore. At some point I decided to try the (old) iPad app, which worked for me. Then the app was updated to a completely new format, which I initially disliked. However, having used it for quite a while I now prefer the "new way" of reading over the old app. The content, as ever, is world class and levels beyond competitive magazines. Photography at times is even close to art und unseen in a car magazin. In particular I (and my wife at times) enjoy the outstanding scenery shots.

Some bad moments

It used to work well, but now access to material is being restricted. My subscription expires on Jan 26, 2015. Restore purchases option is not working either, and after a few tries the application crashes. Be careful if you want to buy it!
Purchased two days ago (paid for 12 months) and still cant access my subscription. There is an issue, according to support line, but no timeframe for resolution. Just a heads up to others that may consider purchasing via Newsstand.
This is a horribly convoluted app - very user-hostile and very un-Mac-like. Trying to retrieve a password is impossible! The support page tells you to go to the cog in the corner to enter your account information, but NO such field exists! The Evo help page says the password is 3 letters and a number and another 3 letters and a number and should be on your correspondence from them BUT IS NOT! They say there is a subs info number on all correspondence but THERE IS NOT! I tried deleting the app, rebooting my iPad, then downloading it again, but to no avail! PLEASE SOMEONE HELP! I FEEL LIKE I AM IN DIGITAL HELL!
Downloaded the app and paid for 12 months subscription. Its been a week now, I still havent received a password and I still dont have access to any issues. Technical support took 5 days to reply and they havent adressed the issue. Ive asked for a full refund. Stay away from this awful app / subscription.
Im giving one star in comparison with the dead trees paper magazine - which I read digitally on the ipad already (dead electrons?). The app layout is too chaotic for me - do I swipe down or across? Read an article and close the app and youve no idea where you left off. I guess Im just too analogue to appreciate this. Also, nowhere has it been made clear what the future of the monthly is. If its being abandoned in favour of this app, then Im done with Evo. Even moreso with Harry gone!
Since offering the new updated version of their iPad/IPhone App, Evo has destroyed their magazine. I subscribe to their sister publication Octane, and other car magazines, but none of them have the problems now associated with the Evo Mag App. its constantly quitting, or popping back to the beginning of the article in mid-read. I am a subscriber but will no longer renew. I have complained to their tech support but the response is that they can’t find the problem I’ve complained about. Well, in that case they can’t have my support anymore. Today I installed their update, and again right away while reading an article about their Coty Awards, their App quit. Enough is enough, evo Magazine took a great read and made it irritating

Usually evo Magazine iOS app used & searched for

evo, motorshow, and other. So, download free evo Magazine .ipa to run this nice iOS application on iPhone and iPad.
